My love for Tolkien's works is beyond measurement, and they've had a great impact in my life in more ways than one. I own much to Mr. Tolkien
... And still this quote represents so much more than just my love for LotR and the consequences of that, it also represents my beliefs about life. I do believe that the only thing we can decide is what to do with the time given us, and I believe that the choices we make defines us as persons and shapes our future. We have the choice to follow our heart, to give our dreams wings to fly and to do what we can to make a better world. No matter what happens we always have a choice! We decide how we want to spend our time on this earth, and we should choose well...This is what the quote represents to me, and I will try my best to live by it. Life is too short for doubts, troubles and worries. I want to live, truly live, each minute of the day. I want to treasure every moment, and fill my days and night's with the things in life that makes my heart sore. I want to follow my heart, follow my dreams, and truly be me...

This summer I feel like I've finally found myself again after a year filled with worries, a year where my heart was often left behind, and I have never been happier! It has been a wonderful summer in every way
... Together with my love I have traveled and seen many wonderful places (Stavanger, Sweden, Croatia and Scotland). At home we've spend time with family and good friends, or just each other. I love the feeling of not having to do anything, when I can spend my days just as I please. We've had picnics in our garden, played like children, had movie marathons, and we've stayed up all night just to watch the sunrise together. It's been perfect..And I know, even though summer is over and we start school again tomorrow, that this feeling of perfect bliss and relaxation will stay with me
Of course there will be many things to do in the time that comes (not all to my liking, exams etc.) and many busy days, but I will still hold on to this feeling and try my best not to worry, because when ever did worrying help? I will live for each moment, fill my days and nights with joy, follow my heart and dreams, and truly be me.. And if times get tough: I'll look at Tolkien's quote and remember that I decide my own fate and happiness
